Travelling in Francophone Europe

When studying abroad in France during the fall of my junior year of college, my friends and I made the choice to forgo big budget trips to London, Rome, and Barcelona and to instead focus on getting to know France and its Francophone neighbors. What was the point of studying French, we reasoned, if we were going to jet off every other weekend to random countries and wind up speaking English? (Of course, this decision might have also had something to do with the fact that travel within France and its neighbors was also the significantly cheaper option!)

Since my semester abroad, I've continued to travel around Europe -- as a student researcher in France, a teaching assistant in Luxembourg, and now an expat in Belgium. Here are some of the beautiful places I've had the chance to visit!
